Who we are |
- The Friendship Mission is a Presbyterian Church of America church and shelter for the homeless and poor of Montgomery, Alabama.
- A ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America's (PCA) Southeast Alabama Presbytery - Our current ministry includes 2 worship services a day except Saturday and hot meals for all who attend (typically over 100 on Sunday morning), plus counseling and Bible study on weeknights for about 50 men living at the facility. |

Why are we here |

- To obey the Lord who says, "For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother; to thy poor; and to thy needy, in thy land." (Deuteronomy 15:11) - To apply the historic teachings of the Bible to the needs of Montgomery, Alabama, in the 21st century - To establish a church, and a mission capable of housing 50-75 men and 25-40 women (plus children) - To teach mission residents the gospel of Jesus Christ and equip them with work and life skills |
